About 12th KL
The 12th Kuala Lumpur Boys' Brigade Company was founded in 2006, and has since grown from strength to strength, celebrating its 10th year anniversary in 2016 and its first President's Man in the same year. Highly committed to producing world class leaders for the future generation, the company provides training in the form of camps, foot drill, and other beneficial activities. True to the BB objective: "The advancement of Christ's Kingdom among young people and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Character.", 12th KL will always put building the Christian Character as our priority.
About the boys' brigade
The Boys’ Brigade was founded in Pennyland, Scotland in the year 1883 by the late Sir William Alexander Smith. It is the very first and oldest youth uniformed unit in the world. Being a military man himself, Sir William Alexander Smith merged the idea of army-styled discipline with healthy and fun activities for the unruly boys attending Sunday school.

Since then, The Boys’ Brigade has flourished and has become an international organization recognized worldwide. Companies have been established in many countries such as The United States of America, Nigeria as well as Australia.
The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia, known as ‘BBM’ is part of the Boys’ Brigade Asia Circle, alongside with the Boys’ Brigade in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, and China.
